患者进行抗病毒治疗的目标是：最大程度地减少病毒载量，


将其维持在不可检测水平的时间越长越好，使免疫功能得到恢复，


降低病死率和HIV相关性疾病的发病率，


延长生命并提高生活质量，减少艾滋病的传播。
