Unauthorized Mexican immigrants are no longer the majority of those living in the country illegally, according to a new analysis by the Pew Research Center. Of the 10.5 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S. in 2017, 4.9 million were Mexicans and 5.5 million were non-Mexicans.
